The short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from third-party servers — no tracking pixels, no Google Fonts, no embedded video. It is hosted in Germany. The only personal data we ask for is the email address you choose to give us for the Toolkit or the podcast notification.

Diese Erklärung informiert über die Verarbeitung personenbezogener Daten auf yoursecondcurve.com nach der Datenschutz-Grundverordnung (DSGVO) und dem Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (BDSG).

Ein Datenschutzbeauftragter ist für einen Betrieb dieser Größe nicht erforderlich und wurde nicht bestellt. Datenschutzanfragen erreichen den Verantwortlichen unter der oben genannten Adresse.

2. Was diese Website nicht tut

  • Es werden keinerlei Cookies gesetzt, und es wird nichts auf Ihrem Endgerät gespeichert oder ausgelesen, was über den normalen Browser-Cache zur Anzeige der Seite hinausgeht. § 25 TDDDG würde dafür Ihre Einwilligung verlangen; da es nicht geschieht, gibt es kein Cookie-Banner, weil es nichts einzuwilligen gibt.
  • Keine Webanalyse, kein Google Analytics, kein Matomo, keine Zählpixel, keine Session-Aufzeichnung.
  • Keine Schriften, Skripte, Karten, Videos oder Bilder von Drittservern. Schriften und alle Dateien liegen auf diesem Server — Ihr Browser nimmt beim Lesen zu keinem anderen Unternehmen Verbindung auf.
  • Keine Werbung, kein Profiling, keine automatisierte Entscheidungsfindung.
  • Keine Datenübermittlung in Länder außerhalb der EU beziehungsweise des EWR.

3. Hosting und Server-Logfiles

Die Website wird gehostet von ALL-INKL.COM — Neue Medien Münnich, Inhaber René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Deutschland. Die Server stehen in Deutschland. Mit dem Hoster besteht ein Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag nach Art. 28 DSGVO.

Bei jedem Seitenaufruf erfasst der Webserver automatisch technische Daten in einer Protokolldatei:

  • die angeforderte Datei und die übertragene Datenmenge,
  • Datum und Uhrzeit der Anfrage,
  • den HTTP-Statuscode und die Referrer-URL,
  • Browsertyp und -version sowie das Betriebssystem,
  • die IP-Adresse des anfragenden Geräts.

Zweck und Rechtsgrundlage: sicherer und störungsfreier Betrieb der Website sowie die Aufklärung von Fehlern und Angriffen — berechtigtes Interesse nach Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Speicherdauer: Die Logfiles werden vom Hoster nach kurzer Zeit gelöscht, in der Regel innerhalb von sieben Tagen. Eine Zusammenführung mit anderen Datenquellen oder eine Identifizierung einzelner Besucher findet nicht statt.

4. Toolkit-Formular und Podcast-Benachrichtigung

Wenn Sie das kostenlose Second Curve Toolkit anfordern oder zum Podcast-Start informiert werden möchten, geben Sie uns Ihre E-Mail-Adresse. Sie wird verwendet, um Ihnen den Download-Link zu senden und — sofern Sie eingewilligt haben — gelegentlich über Buch, Toolkit und Podcast zu informieren.

Rechtsgrundlage
Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO für die Zusendung des angeforderten Toolkits, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO (Einwilligung) für weitere E-Mails.
Speicherdauer
Bis zum Widerruf. Jede E-Mail enthält einen Abmeldelink mit einem Klick; eine formlose Nachricht genügt ebenfalls. Nach der Abmeldung wird die Adresse gelöscht, soweit sie nicht zum Nachweis des Widerrufs benötigt wird.
Folgen der Nichtbereitstellung
Ohne E-Mail-Adresse können wir Ihnen das Toolkit nicht zusenden. Alle Inhalte dieser Website bleiben unabhängig davon frei zugänglich.

Wohin die Daten gehen. Es ist kein Newsletter-Dienstleister eingebunden. Das Formular sendet Ihre Angaben an ein Skript auf demselben Server in Deutschland. Von dort gehen zwei E-Mails heraus: eine Bestätigung mit den Download-Links an Sie und eine Benachrichtigung an marketing@theprincipalsgroup.com. Versendet wird über das Postfach dieser Domain bei ALL-INKL.COM; die Nachrichten verlassen Deutschland nicht.

Die Betreuung dieser Adressen übernimmt The Principals Group im Auftrag von Inflection Press. Ihre E-Mail-Adresse und die dokumentierte Einwilligung werden dort im E-Mail-Postfach gespeichert; eine weitere Datenbank oder ein Profil wird nicht angelegt. Rechtsgrundlage der Weitergabe ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b und lit. f DSGVO.

Was protokolliert wird. Zum Nachweis Ihrer Einwilligung nach Art. 7 Abs. 1 DSGVO werden mit der Benachrichtigung der Wortlaut der Einwilligung, der Zeitpunkt, Ihre IP-Adresse und Ihr Browser-Kennzeichen übermittelt und dort aufbewahrt.

5. Kontaktaufnahme per E-Mail

Schreiben Sie uns an eine der genannten Adressen, werden Ihre Nachricht und Ihre Adresse zur Bearbeitung gespeichert. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b bzw. lit. f DSGVO. Die Löschung erfolgt nach abschließender Bearbeitung, sofern keine handels- oder steuerrechtlichen Aufbewahrungspflichten bestehen.

6. Downloads

Die Toolkit-PDFs liegen auf diesem Server. Ein Download erzeugt lediglich einen Logfile-Eintrag nach Ziffer 3 und nichts darüber hinaus. Die PDFs enthalten kein Tracking.

8. Ihre Rechte

Nach der DSGVO haben Sie das Recht auf:

  • Auskunft über die zu Ihrer Person gespeicherten Daten (Art. 15),
  • Berichtigung unrichtiger Daten (Art. 16),
  • Löschung (Art. 17),
  • Einschränkung der Verarbeitung (Art. 18),

  • Widerspruch gegen eine auf berechtigten Interessen beruhende Verarbeitung (Art. 21) und

9. Sicherheit

Die Website wird über TLS (HTTPS) ausgeliefert; die Verbindung zwischen Ihrem Browser und dem Server ist verschlüsselt. Sicherheits-Header beschränken das Laden von Ressourcen auf die eigene Domain.

10. Änderungen

Wir passen diese Erklärung an, wenn sich die Website ändert — etwa sobald das Newsletter-Formular live geht. Es gilt jeweils die aktuelle Fassung.

A data protection officer is not required for an operation of this size and none has been appointed. Data protection enquiries reach the controller at the address above.

2. What this site does not do

  • No cookies of any kind are set, and nothing is written to or read from your device beyond what your browser caches to display the page. § 25 TDDDG would require your consent for that; since it does not happen, there is no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
  • No web analytics, no Google Analytics, no Matomo, no pixels, no session recording.
  • No fonts, scripts, maps, videos or images are loaded from third-party servers. Fonts and all assets are served from this domain, so your browser never contacts another company while reading these pages.
  • No advertising, no profiling, no automated decision-making.
  • No data is transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA.

3. Hosting and server log files

The site is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM — Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. A data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR is in place with the host.

Each time a page is requested, the web server automatically records technical data in a log file: the requested file and the amount of data transferred, the date and time, the HTTP status code and referring URL, browser type and version, the operating system, and the IP address of the requesting device.

Purpose and legal basis: operating the site securely and reliably and investigating faults or attacks. This is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Retention: log files are deleted by the host after a short period, normally within seven days. The data is not merged with other data sources and is not used to identify individual visitors.

4. The Toolkit form and the podcast notification

If you request the free Second Curve Toolkit, or ask to be told when the podcast launches, you give us your email address. It is used to send you the download link and, if you have agreed to it, occasional emails about the book, the Toolkit and the podcast.

Legal basis
Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for delivering the Toolkit you asked for, and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent — for any further emails.
Retention
Until you unsubscribe. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also write to us. After you unsubscribe, your address is deleted, except for a minimal record of the withdrawal where we must be able to evidence it.
Consequence of not providing it
None beyond the obvious: without an email address we cannot send you the Toolkit. The book and every page of this site remain available regardless.

Where the data goes. No newsletter provider is involved. The form posts your details to a script on this same server in Germany. Two emails then go out: a confirmation with the download links to you, and a notification to marketing@theprincipalsgroup.com. They are sent through this domain's own mailbox at ALL-INKL.COM, so the messages do not leave Germany.

These addresses are looked after by The Principals Group on behalf of Inflection Press. Your email address and the recorded consent are held there in an email mailbox; no further database or profile is created. The legal basis for passing them on is Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

What is logged. To evidence your consent under Article 7(1) GDPR, the notification carries and retains the wording of the consent, the time, your IP address and your browser identifier.

5. Contacting us by email

If you write to one of the addresses on this site, your message and your address are stored so we can answer it. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Messages are deleted once the matter is settled and no retention obligation under commercial or tax law applies.

6. Downloads

The Toolkit PDFs are served from this domain. Downloading one produces an ordinary server log entry as described in section 3 and nothing further. The PDFs contain no tracking of any kind.

7. External links

Links to Amazon, theprincipalsgroup.com and other sites leave this domain and open in a new tab. Once you follow one, the privacy notice of that site applies; we have no influence over how those operators handle your data.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold about you (Article 15), have inaccurate data corrected (Article 16), have data erased (Article 17), restrict processing (Article 18), receive your data in a portable format (Article 20), object to processing based on legitimate interests (Article 21), and withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Article 7(3)).

Write to info@theprincipalsgroup.com. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR). The competent one here is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.

9. Security

This site is delivered over TLS (HTTPS), so traffic between your browser and the server is encrypted. Security headers restrict the site to loading resources from its own domain.

10. Changes

We update this notice when the site changes — for example when the newsletter embed goes live. The current version always applies.
